This Cookie Policy explains how Pricendex (operated by Nanshua, Inc.) uses cookies and similar technologies. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. Essential Cookies

These cookies are required for the Service to function and cannot be disabled:

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in (set by Auth.js/NextAuth).
• Selected store cookie — remembers which connected Shopify store you last viewed in the dashboard; re-validated against your account on every request.

2. Analytics and Session Recording

We use PostHog to understand how the Service is used and to record sessions for debugging and product improvement. PostHog sets cookies to distinguish visitors and link activity across a session. This data is used internally to improve the Service and is not sold or used for third-party advertising. Session recordings mask all on-screen text and element attributes by default, so recordings do not capture what you actually typed or displayed content.

A one-time notice is shown on your first visit explaining this and offering the option to opt out. Signed-in users can change this choice at any time from the Analytics section of the Account page; opting out stops all further PostHog data collection for that browser.

3. Theme Preference

Your light/dark/system theme choice is stored in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, and never leaves your device.

4. Managing Cookies

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from staying signed in to Pricendex. We do not currently use third-party advertising cookies, so there is no ad-preference opt-out to manage. For analytics, use the opt-out described in Section 2 instead of blocking cookies at the browser level.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
